This is an original painting by Faith Lund using oil and acrylic.  The subject is inspired by a trip to which brought us to Croatia and Dubrovnek in particular.  The age of everything there was incredible.  I was once again taken by the ancient architecture and had to recreate many years of age leaving an interesting texture to the surface.  These muted dark tones add mystery to this historical setting.  The high contract of bright vivid vines of flowers cascading around the portal makes the piece come alive.
